Viasat is expanding in Australia and into the Asia-Pacific region. Our Sydney office is seeking an Accounts Administrator to work with and help build and support the existing accounts team. You will assist in supporting Accounts Payable and Receivable as well as providing support for project accounting and other financial functions. This role requires a high level of personal organisation and stellar interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships inside and outside of Viasat. You will be a key representative of the company. You will also help in the establishment of processes (procurement, financial, etc.) to facilitate its smooth operation.  

- 5+ years of proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role
- 5 years experience with Data Entry, Payroll, Superannuation, Reconciliations, and AP/AR
- Experienced with Audit preparation
- Experience with project accounting
- Good knowledge of book-keeping procedures and regulations
- Management of office financials
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Financials
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong communicator able to work effectively with the multi-discipline Viasat teams
- Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen

Experience in working for a multi-national
Experience with extranet purchasing tools
