Job Responsibilities
Viasat Brasil is seeking an energetic, driven Office Manager to support our growing business in Brasil.  This is a multi-faceted position with responsibility for Office Management and and executive administrative support for the Directors of Viasat’s Brazil offices. 

The Office Manager will perform highly diverse administrative and project focused duties, which by nature of the position involves high level contacts and exposure to confidential material necessitating the use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment. This position serves as a key point of contact for employees, internal and external customers and vendors on matters pertaining to the company. The candidate must have proven skills in prioritizing and multi-tasking, as well as the ability to remain poised and focused in a fast-paced working environment. Office Management
  • Is responsible for the for the smooth operation of the local office, including managing local vendor support and supplies 
  • Partners with US-based corporate function liaisons (IT, facilities, safety & security, purchasing, etc.) to establish, implement and maintain scalable office processes and procedures including but not limited to: office security/badging, procuring office supplies and equipment, scheduled maintenance and other services as needed.
  • Prioritizes and completes support requests in a timely manner (i.e. issues with IT, systems, facilities, etc.).
  • Partners with corporate function liaisons to oversee and ensure local compliance requirements are met and informs the team(s) of new/changing requirements.
Executive Administrative Support
  • Performs highly diverse and complex administrative functions supporting the Directors and other functional areas as needed including but not limited to domestic travel and international arrangements and preparing expense reports.
  • Schedules, organizes, and coordinates logistics for meetings, events, training sessions, appointments, conferences, and activities as requested. 
  • Handles confidential information and tasks with discretion and demonstrates diplomacy and excellent judgment in dealing with sensitive situations.
  • Responds confidently, courteously, knowledgeably, and professionally to internal and external inquiries and office visitors including company leadership, teammates and customers, exhibiting a “can do”, customer service attitude. Uses discretion in determining whether the situation can be handled independently or with the support of others.
  • Special projects as needed.
  • 3+ years Executive Administrative Assistant and or Office Management experience 
  • High school diploma.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, with a business level ability to communicate in English (verbal, written).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and Social Media web platforms.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to competing priorities while remaining focused and delivering quality work.
  • Exhibits a positive work attitude, high productivity and a collaborative approach with internal/external customers and employees to ensure business needs/goals are accomplished.
  • Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer service.
  • Bachelor's degree
