Job Responsibilities

As the Aftermarket Planner, you will coordinate activities associated with the returned products in need of repair or upgrade. As you manage the returns of assemblies and modular components from the field, you will manage inventory; schedule repair; collect and report repair data,and interact with internal customers, external customers, and suppliers. You will champion repair planning BOMs, material issues, including ordering parts and maintaining data using Oracle ERP system. Your customer service skills will be utilized as you work directly with field service engineers, manufacturing, production control, supply chain, program management, shipping and receiving, test technicians, assemblers, and Aftermarket customer support representatives.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience improving processes or procedures
Responsive and detail-oriented team player with a determination to always meet the need of our customers
Must be familiar with ERP systems
Must be able to lift and move product and subcomponents up to 50 Pounds
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations related field
US government position. US citizenship required
Ability to obtain an FAA clearance
Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferences

3-5 years of related experience in inventory management or material planning
Ability to read and interpret data sheets
Contract manufacturing processes and troubleshooting procedures experience
Technical experience in a military manufacturing environment
Experience master scheduling/planning
Experience with continuous process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma
Experience working with customer service or suppliers
Experience working with Oracle
