Assembly Supervisor

We are looking for a Production Controller / Assembly Supervisor to join our team.  In this role, the ideal candidate will supervise the activities of the assembly team.  Plan and assign work based on priority and skill requirement.  Ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner.  Ensure quality levels are at the required level.  Foster an attitude of service within the assembly team.  Monitor the upstream workload and anticipate varying needs.  Follow up on the status of material shortages and schedules.  Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, QA, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure jobs move and expectations are met.

Requirements
  • 5+ Years of experience supervising personnel or equivalent. 
  • Experience with electronics manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Ability to clearly communicate expectations, requirements, and results both verbally and orally.
  • 3 years of experience with Oracle or SAP or equivalent.
  • Experience in WIP and inventory management is a must.
  • Must have an exceptional ability to multitask.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status Required
Preferences
  • Experience with electronic assemblies for communication and space applications is desired.
  • Knowledge of Agile and/or Oracle systems is desired.
  • Ability to understand engineering concepts for testing and evaluation.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as wire bonder, microscope, soldering iron, etc.
  • Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom is a plus.
