Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will work as part of a team responsible for designing and implementing software solutions to creatively and efficiently tackle unique and sophisticated needs for the satellite communication ground system development and integration.
This position will work on overall systems integration at Viasat with tremendous visibility across hardware, software, and integration teams. Additionally, you will develop and support automated test software and scripting. Part of your role will be DevOps focused in a test automation function that may include some on-call work.
Requirements
- 5+ years' work experience working with python
- 2+ years' experience developing software for test automation
- Strong interpersonal skills (both written and oral) and a proven track record working with partners at all levels of an organization
- Be able to support East Coast hours
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, or related work experience
Preferences
- Java and Linux experience
- DevOps experience
