Job Responsibilities

The Automation Process Analyst will be responsible for creating automation enhancements for the Finance Automation COE. This position will work closely with Finance SME’s and stakeholders to drive the deployment of automated processes by analyzing current processes and designing optimized solutions using RPA automation and workflow tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the end-to-end RPA and workflow automation (Analysis, design, build, test, deploy, maintain) using recommended best practices
  • Engage with Finance SMEs to discover opportunities for automation, understand core processes and effectively capture the business needs/requirements
  • Decompose complex business processes into optimized “rules-based" tasks for development
  • Manage the Automation documentation process including creating Process Design Documents (PDDs), Bot Inventories, Runbooks and other training materials
  • Work closely with RPA developers to properly convey business requirements to meet automation milestones
  • Create test plans including unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing
  • Conduct workshops to bolster training, create an intake pipeline and help evangelize automation within the Finance organization
  • Monitor and support production automation jobs
  • Help capture bot metrics for management reporting and ROI calculations


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Computer Science
  • 5+ years experience as a business process analyst or process engineer
  • Successful track record optimizing business process employing proven business process engineering methodologies (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Extensive experience implementing automated system solutions to solve complex business needs
  • 2+ years working with RPA tools like UIPath, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism
  • Experience with system integrations using APIs or SOA
  • Experience with SDLC using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with large ERP platforms (Oracle preferred)
  • Strong business consultancy skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and liaise with all levels of the organization

Preferences

  • Preferred RPA Certifications: UIPath Business Analyst and Developer Foundation
  • Experience with Accounting and Finance concepts
  • Experience with Oracle EBS
  • Familiarity with process mining and task mining tools
  • Experience with workflow tools
  • Cursory knowledge of coding concepts using C# or VB.Net

The starting salary for this position is $98,175 annually, but an offered salary may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
