Job Responsibilities
Viasat’s Business Aviation Connectivity group is growing. We have an immediate need for a new satellite connectivity regional sales manager for the company’s in-flight cabin broadband communications products including hardware and service. You’ll bring your existing relationships with large cabin and super-mid business jet operators, including flight departments and management companies, to enhance our efforts in North America, especially on the west coast. We’ll provide the best airborne connectivity solutions to make your job easier.

  • 7+ years’ experience in business aviation-related sales and/or business development
  • 5+ years’ experience with satellite, cellular or ATG connectivity or similar avionics systems including hardware and data service knowledge
  • Experience working with avionics and/or connectivity hardware dealers
  • Existing professional relationships in and knowledge of business aviation industry including flight departments, management companies, and charter operators
  • Ability to lead an RFP response team
  • Verified experience of exceeding multi-million dollar sales targets
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50%
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize activities
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM tool
