Job Responsibilities

Our Global Enterprise & Mobility team is looking to rapidly expand our service portfolio with a number of programs focused on technology development and optimization of operational processes to support scalability, reliability, and product cost reductions, to enable the delivery of best-in-class connectivity services.  This position is responsible for directing the priorities and activities across the business and functional teams that need to collaborate to achieve business objectives.  The successful candidate will have to understand the contributions of a range of teams (e.g., engineering, product fulfillment, service management), set delivery goals for each function, manage delivery success, and monitor results. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage product and service delivery across a range of business and functional teams involved in both product and service delivery.
  • Establish and lead a cross-functional team responsible for driving producibility, scalability, enhanced reliability and product cost reduction.
  • Establish and monitor delivery and operational metrics that are aligned with committed service objectives.
  • Facilitate the flow of product fulfillment and operational requirements to the delivery teams, and arbitrate to successfully address changes in these requirements over time.
  • Work with multiple teams to develop processes and tools to improve delivery success and reliability, and proactively track progress, issues and risks.
  • Drive cross-functional teams to investigate high priority issues and risks, and deliver effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • If/when delivery objectives cannot be met, reassess options and direct cross-functional efforts to deliver on highest priority commitments.
  • Establish reporting processes to keep business area, functional and executive management aware of progress and critical issues or risks.
  • Develop and manage/measure overall planning process for annual development of forward-looking objectives.
  • Establish and manage key performance indicators to achieve goals for cost, delivery, lead time, continuity of supply and organizational performance categories. Establish reporting process for regular and automated reporting.
  • Identify and develop organizational performance improvement initiatives, including business processes, systems and tools, training and development and organization capacity and capability roadmaps.
  • Develop overall communication strategy and build effective communication tools to support reporting requirements, including monthly and quarterly operations meetings.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of program management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of complex systems in terms how product development, validation, fulfillment, deployment, and operations need to work to achieve product delivery and service objectives.
  • Understanding of operational roles served by Product Marketing, Product Development, Engineering Development, Supply Chain, Demand Management, New Product Introduction, Reliability, Manufacturing, Production Test and After Market Support groups.
  • Ability to work with a range of teams and team member disciplines collaboratively to achieve business objectives.
  • When issues arise, readily assess, direct and communicate priorities for rapid investigation, root cause identification and solution development.
  • Excellent analytical and communications skills – active listening, real-time processing of evolving situations, clear/concise communications of direction and desired results.
  • Available to travel up to 10%.
