Job description
As a member of the Customer Operations group, your main responsibility will be to support and implement processes and reports to improve Viasat’s operational excellence. You will work closely with Operations, Quality, IT, Engineering, and Business unit functions, understanding Viasat’s customer lifecycle, mapping KPI’s, developing reports and identifying process improvement opportunities to drive operational and business performance. A successful candidate will have an interest in business process and customer experience, with the ability to develop reports to measure and understand specific Viasat’s customer needs and translate them into process improvements. You will help driving results in the near term, while simultaneously positioning the business processes to scale effectively with projected company growth in the future.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information System, and/or a related field.
- Strong relationship building, teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities based on workload and direction from management.
- Basic knowledge of big data, Business Intelligence tools, simulation, modeling, and statistics.
- Engaged and organized personality.
- Self-driven individual with ability to work independently.
- Capable of applying resourceful and creative thought to resolve complex problems.
- Strong analytical skills to support decision-making.
- Strong skills utilizing standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, Access, Visio and Power Point.
- High degree of personal integrity and work ethic.
- Intermediary to advanced English proficiency
Preferences
- Knowledge of Project Management
- Statistical analysis
- Lean Six Sigma
- Knowledge of coding languages such as SQL, Phython, C++.
This position will be part time; up to 6 hours per day / 30 hours per week. Our office is location in downtown Sao Paulo, and the expectation, when safe to do so, is for this position to be present onsite.
