As a Cellular Network Engineer Lead you will work hands-on with the world’s most cutting-edge wireless and mobile technologies. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where you are challenged to design, setup, and debug complex wireless networks. Work on a team as both the technical lead and as a hands-on contributor, depending on what the situation demands. As a member of one of our dynamic engineering teams, you will use your network engineering expertise/leadership to specify, design, implement, document, test, troubleshoot and deploy network solutions including LTE and 5G technologies; diagnose and resolve complex problems, provide critical network architecture support, and maintain a variety of network communication protocols. You will be directly involved in a diverse number of communications programs and projects for US DoD customers as well as commercial applications. This fast-paced multi-tasking environment requires you to interact with a broad spectrum of program managers, hardware/software/project engineers, and various internal support organizations on a regular basis. You are empowered to research technological advancements and evaluate complex data networking technologies to understand their potential and make recommendations to drive the future roadmap of our products. You will occasionally travel to participate in fieldwork at customer sites internationally and domestically.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or computer science
  • 10+ years’ experience with cellular deployments, including recent experience with LTE systems (EPC, E-UTRAN) and 5G NSA/SA systems (5GC, NG-RAN)
  • 7+ years experience in network design including Layer 2/3 design and experience with routers, firewalls, & switches
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary development teams
  • Experience with Modeling and Simulation for LTE/5G mobile networks
  • Experience with 5G edge computing applications
  • Experience with product and requirements management toolsets (Jenkins, Github, Jira, PLM software)
  • US Government Programs. US Citizenship Required.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret level Security Clearance
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%


  • LTE / 5G Certifications (Nokia or equivalent)
  • Networking Certifications (Cisco or equivalent)
  • Prior experience using Scrum, CI / CD, & SecDevOps development methodologies
  • Prior experience with mixed communications systems (cellular, satellite, microwave, etc.)
  • Prior experience working with virtualization (ESXi, KVM) and/or container technologies (e.g. Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge/Experience of cloud platforms: Amazon, Openstack, Microsoft’s Azure, Google Cloud Platform
  • Former military experience
