Job Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist Intern supporting our Global Fixed Broadband business segment, you'll have an opportunity to:
- Analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing report
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions
- Conduct full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience with Tableau and/or PowerBI
- Experience with forecasting and/or predictive analytics
- Ability to commit to a 10-12 week summer internship
