You will plan and assist in the management of state of the art technology development programs. This includes defining the development program plans in the proposal phase, statusing and managing the activities and staff in accordance with the plan, and reporting key financial data to the senior executive team. You will work directly with a diverse staff including business development, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance to manage the product development.

You will also support business development efforts by generating development plans and estimating development costs for proposals and R&D activities. Works on diverse issues and leads the coordination of activities for the teams. 

Requirements: 

  • 8+ years of program management experience working with budgets and schedules
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MPM, Earned value management, cost and schedule analysis, MS Word, Excel and Power Point
  • The qualified candidate must be a strong communicator and will work effectively with others from multiple disciplines to determine status of development programs
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • US government position. US citizenship required.
  • Travel up to 10 percent 

Preferences:

  • 8+ years of direct experience in developing and managing technical development program budgets and schedules
  • Government contract and proposal experience
  • Clearance: Secret or TS/SCI a plus
