Viasat has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and capable Digital/FPGA Verification  Engineer, with a wide-range of experience, who is looking for an opportunity to develop innovative new products with experts in the industry. In this role you will be responsible for the specification, design, test and documentation of digital hardware and FPGA design. Sound interesting? Keep reading....

Requirements

  • 6+ years digital module and FPGA design experience
  • Experienced Verilog/SystemVerilog/UVM/Python 
  • Experience with Questa Simulator
  • Ability/willingness to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering/technical degree
  • U.S. government position. U.S. citizenship required.
  • Up to 10% domestic travel

Preferences

  • Space hardware design
  • Verilog/SystemVerilog/UVM • VHDL • Perl / Python • Questa Simulator
  • Hi-Rel FPGA experience using Xilinx and Microchip RTAX/RTSX/Prosaic
  • Experience using Xilinx, Synplicity, Modelsim, DxDesigner
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • MSEE degree
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance (or held one within the past 2 years)
