Job Responsibilities

Viasat seeks a Director of Product Management to ensure we deliver a great experience for customers of our Global Broadband Services segment. You will have the leading role in defining the experience for consumers and small businesses who use our broadband services, across multiple countries.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and manage the strategy, prioritized roadmap and detailed requirements for user-facing products
  • Deliver a digital CX in close partnership with engineering teams
  • Support a data & analytics based approach to create customer experiences, anticipating customer needs and discovering roadblocks
  • Justify technology investments financially, and measure realized returns
  • Manage working with multiple teams across the full product life cycle, from requirements, to launch, to obsolescence
  • Grow customer adoption of digital, automated, self-help channels
  • Coordinate the roadmap for products used by internal operations, who are supporting customers


  • 6+ years experience in product management and 12+ in high tech companies across engineering, architecture, marketing etc.,
  • Experience in a global consumer business - customer journeys, measurements and experiments, research, analytics
  • Technical competence with demonstrated ability to prioritize, in partnership with engineering - User experience, UI, scale, performance, global, web/mobile
  • Experience in writing detailed requirements for consumer software products
  • Strong empathy and understanding for the customer and their needs
  • Very effective communication skills
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
