Job Responsibilities
Viasat is looking for a dynamic Hardware Systems Engineer to join our growing team.  In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the performance of all hardware on our space payload. You will oversee all hardware development and lead engineering development activities. You will oversee testing and be responsible for ensuring all hardware modules satisfy performance requirements.  


Requirements
10+ years of experience in RF microwave design and/or RF systems engineering.  
Knowledge and understanding of hardware interfaces and ensureing smooth integration and that the system is built up
Experience in requirements traceability and verification
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written and has the ability to work with others from multiple disciplines.
Excellent teamwork and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar relevant engineering field
U.S. Government Position.  U.S. Citizenship Required.  
Up to 10% domestic travel
