The Role

In this role you will be a key player in the successful delivery of our inflight entertainment solutions to Customers around the world. You will be front line in engaging with Customers to understand strategies and objectives, define the detailed scope, and assist the Customer in the rollout of inflight entertainment solutions.  You will be the Customer’s primary go-to technical person for any questions or problems encountered during the delivery process. You will serve as the link between the technical and business views of systems, facilitating dialogue between customer SME’s and our in-house Design & Development teams and helping configure the solution. Your contributions ensure that the solutions being developed satisfy the needs of users and stakeholders, are delivered in a dependable way, and meet safety and commercial imperatives.


Responsibilities

  • Understand business objectives and customer requirements
  • Produce and gain agreement on solution requirement, design and test documentation with customer and internal Product, Engineering, and Operations teams
  • Gather, document and present clear requirements for new features and updates to existing features
  • Configure systems to meet customer solution requirements and designs
  • Customize and deliver solution and operational training to customer
  • Support customer acceptance and other onsite testing as needed
  • Support the transition into Service Operations
  • Support Sales team in the production of technical solution proposals
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of service delivery practices, procedures, and knowledge base
  • Maintain expert knowledge of product capabilities and past solutions delivered


Skills

  • Strong experience in customer facing solution definition and delivery roles within the IT sector
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver whilst maintaining a strong customer focus at all times
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences (oral/written)
  • Self-starter equally able to produce results individually as well as collectively though collaboration with team members and stakeholders across departments and regions
  • Ability to understand and address core need driving customer requests
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities based on workload and direction from management and/or customers
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas are a plus
    • Aviation experience in commercial, operations or engineering domains
    • Enterprise SaaS presales, implementations or business consulting
    • Web or native app design
    • Content management systems
    • GDPR / Information Security
    • Familiarity with technologies such as React, Wi-Fi networking, Docker, SQL, Looker, Linux
