As a Mechanical Engineer, you will primarily be focused on, but not limited to, the development of airborne and satellite products. Responsibilities may include the following: Detailed design of parts, assemblies & drawings, analyzing product requirements, support assembly & test validation of designs, participate in design reviews, supplier coordination.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Experience with standard industry 3D CAD Software (SolidWorks/CATIA preferred) and the ability to create models, assemblies and generate drawings
  • Experience or exposure to Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Bill of Material creation (BOM), Engineering Change orders (ECOs)

Preferences:

  • Familiarity of a wide variety of manufacturing technologies and hands on experience
  • Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) for root cause analysis of issues/failure modes
