As As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for mechanical design of communication electronics products and test fixtures, from conceptual design and analysis through transition to production, for defense and commercial applications. You will also create solid models of equipment, analyze hardware as required to meet customer environments, and assist with product testing.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Previous experience or exposure to standard industry CAD software
  • Basic knowledge of industry standard drafting practices
  • Knowledge or experience using SolidWorks, SolidEdge
  • Working knowledge with MCAD
  • Knowledge working with Thermal and structural finite elements analysis
  • Geometric Design & Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge
  • Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes, especially machining, casting, welding, and sheet forming processes
  • Master's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Previous internship or work experience in the space industry
  • Previous experience using Ansys Mechanical
  • Internship, work, or project experience using GD&T
