Job Responsibilities

As a Program Control Manager, you will oversee a team of Program Control Analysts. You will be the Point of Contact for the Business Area on program control expertise. You will work with Program Managers and Business Area Leads to ensure the programs are properly supported. You will require an in-depth knowledge of Scheduling (Critical Path, Schedule Impacts, Risk Assessments) and Earned Value Management. Experience maintaining schedules and IPMRs is highly desirable. You will be responsible for reviewing schedules and Estimates at Complete (EAC). You will use your knowledge of program control to provide mentorship to your team. Working across our dynamic Program Control team, you will interface daily with Program Managers, finance personnel, functional groups and engineering staff in a team environment specifically designed to achieve program and professional success.

Requirements

  • MS Project scheduling experience in a high tech engineering environment
  • Must be proficient in MS PowerPoint, Advanced Excel skills, and experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Preparing and Reviewing Estimates at Complete (EAC) and Variance Analysis
  • Conducting Cost and Schedule Risk Assessments and Mitigation Steps
  • Compliance to the EVM System Description
  • Support Program Management Reviews (PMR), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), and audits
  • Proven track record of team leadership, problem solving, performance analysis, utilizing program management techniques and achieving the goals of the program and business area
  • Excellent teamwork and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • U.S. government position. US citizenship required.
  • Up to 10% travel

Preferences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or technical field desired.
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience supporting Earned Value Management programs
  • Oracle experience
  • Government contract experience
