Job Responsibilities

In this program management position, you will lead development programs for the Government Services business area. You will advise and drive all phases of programs from inception through completion in managing budget, schedule, and risk while focusing on meeting commitments with high-quality products in an efficient manner. You will be leading, directing, and motivating multi-disciplinary and multi-site teams to meet program goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for program execution through leadership, scheduling, financial reporting and budgeting, risk management, and driving consensus from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Display proactive and flexible project-oriented dedication, with the ability to drive efficient execution with a variety of groups including development, operations, and support services.
  • Establish relationships and drive outcomes with industry partners and customers to achieve program goals.
  • Proactively assess market/product offerings and opportunities and brief business area management on a regular basis
  • Maintain responsibility for defining solution sets including pricing and offer strategies in collaboration with BD and System Engineering
  • Apply a collaborative/consultative working and leadership style, relying on common sense and personal competence for persuasion and consensus-building.


  • 5+ years’ experience in program management or proven technical leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, problem-solving, performing analysis and making trade decisions, and achieving program and business goals
  • Experience establishing relationships with industry partners and driving projects consisting of internal and external work components
  • Develop close, trust-based relationships with customers in order to understand their communications problems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Field or equivalent experience
  • US Government position. US Citizenship required
  • Current US DoD Secret Clearance or willingness to apply for a secret clearance as soon as administratively feasible
  • Ability to travel up to 10%


  • BA/BS degree in Engineering (EE, CE, CS)
  • Experience with satellite modem or other wireless communications systems
  • Experience as a technology developer or system integrator of products/programs for Government customers
  • Direct experience leading and developing a team spread over diverse geographical locations
  • Active DoD US Secret Clearance
