The Role

Viasat is looking for a Sales Manager, to join Viasat’s growing consumer broadband team in Dublin. You will oversee and integrate a dynamic and challenging environment. Your attention to detail and integrity will make you successful in the role to ensure the highest performance for our residential broadband business in Spain . 

As a Sales Manager for Spain, you will be Viasat’s representative helping us grow our brand, strengthen our local presence, establish key partnerships, drive performance, and increase our customer base. Your role will be to manage the operations of the  local market, boost awareness, develop distribution relationships and help drive and implement the go-to-market strategy for maximum market penetration.


Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver and operational plan to ensure an optimum service for customers and vendors in region.
    • Developing and implementing strategies for improved results, managing performance, reporting, working practices, processes and tools to facilitate ongoing management of partners and metrics.
    • Provide ongoing operational reporting and financial analysis to Executive leadership.
  • Development of a nationwide installation network:
    • Manage and direct the established field operations partners to ensure timely service delivery,  quality, logistics, installations and service calls.
    • Expand the established installation and reseller network.
    • Manage service review meetings with vendors
  • Develop and deliver product and installation service training programs necessary to support Viasat retail sales and fulfillment.
  • Establishment of an indirect sales channel network
  • Provide a support role function for marketing and sales departments to assist with marketing strategy and sales tactics as necessary.
    • Collaborating with sales teams and customer care agents on messaging.
    • Support all activities as it relates to implementation and on-going usage of our solution (software+content) within our customer base.
  • Represent the company and help with navigating regulatory and legal administrative issues within the Country



Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a general management role.
  • Ability to manage strategies to achieve corporate objectives around fulfillment and service quality and field training.
  • Effective and collaborative problem-solving style, working both with internal as well as external teams. 
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis and also be a strong “team player” within an international team
  • Ability to develop appropriate metrics and resulting reports to drive effective and timely improvements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer (Microsoft Office, Internet) skills
  • No restrictions on driving privileges
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent in work experience.


Preferences:

  • Knowledge, understanding and experience in consumer subscription business model  
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Sales and Marketing role.
  • Satellite, Cable, or ISP industry experience.
  • 3+ years previous Field Operations management experience.
  • Broadband market knowledge
  • Spanish language fluency
