Job Responsibilities

As a Security Educational Administrator, you will be supporting our robust education program and will need to be comfortable working in a busy fast paced environment. The right candidate will be able to prioritize, multi-task, provide accurate data entry and organize tasking in a fast paced environment. Must be able to think quickly to solve problems effectively using strong reasoning and critical thinking skills.  Must demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a demonstrated understanding of office software (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook for scheduling, email, data management systems, etc.).  Ideal candidate will have worked as a Security Administrator (or similar position) for a cleared defense contractor. 


  • 2-4 year experience in general administration and security supporting the National Industrial Security Program (NISP)
  • The ability or desire to facilitate and present solid presentations to small and large groups of individuals on a frequent basis
  • Knowledge of communication technology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general office equipment
  • Be comfortable providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work with customers and other visitors in a professional, courteous manner
  • Ability to show initiative and be a self-starter
  • Ability to work well under pressure, organize and multi-task
  • Able to adjust priorities to respond to urgent alarm conditions and events
  • Ability to move quickly while maintaining accurate data entry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • U.S. government position. U.S. citizenship required


  • Familiarization with video editing, presentation or amination software
  • Experience with SIMS (Security Software)
  • Facilitate and deliver engaging security briefings 
  • Create effective presentations to senior managers, executives, and other stakeholders
  • Toastmasters involvement or other public speaking education
