In this role, you will participate in the design, development, testing, deployment, and operation of a distributed software application running in the cloud. This is a high visibility role to enable the operation of the next-generation version of the network. You will help design, write and deliver software to add new capabilities, improve the availability, scalability, and operational efficiency of cloud-based software services. You will also build automation to prevent problem recurrence with the goal of automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions.

Requirements

8+ years of experience with C++, C, Python, and related scripting experience
Detailed problem-solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive
Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and object-oriented software design
Proven experience working with Agile Scrum teams
Excellent oral and written communication
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferences

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker containers, container networking
Experience with cloud technologies in any of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
Experience working effectively in a DevOps environment
WiMAX, LTE, or related protocol stack knowledge/experience
Experience with TCP/IP, network security concepts
