In this role, you will lead a group of teams designing and implementing software solutions to creatively and efficiently solve unique and complex challenges associated with satellite ground system development and integration.  As the Systems Automation Software Platform Lead for multiple Agile software teams, you will identify and implement initiatives, determine priorities that align with the initiatives, and coordinate the implementation with the software teams.  You will be responsible for the strategic growth and employee development of the teams and lead them in growth as a leading-edge group promoting automation and efficiency across many adjacent programs that your products support.  You will utilize your excellent collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally across teams and internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Work in collaboration with Product Owners to lead and manage projects from inception to placement into production and DevOps
Coordinate with internal customers to assess requirements and define backlog with necessary product teams
Maintain, monitor, and manage OKRs
Interface and facilitate coordination of cross-team and stakeholder issues and dependencies
Drive receipt of, catalog, and prioritization of work into Jira initiatives for platform roadmap and tie into business priorities, project pipeline, and dashboards
Track and report on platform roadmap initiatives with associated product epics and stories
Help organize, facilitate and/or improve regular scrum ceremonies
Supervise 3-5 team leads within the product line

Requirements
5+ years of software development team leadership experience in a team working with any of Golang, Python or C++
Agile Product Owner role experience
Experience with cloud computing technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Understands and demonstrates the need for customer-centricity
Experience and understanding of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, Multicast, IPv6)
Experience with software feature design and stakeholder coordination
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Exposure to visualization dashboards such as Grafana
Software development experience and focus on automating/optimizing processes
Experience leading or mentoring development teams
BS degree in Engineering, Technology, or equivalent work experience 
Up to 10% domestic travel

Preferences
Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) training or experience
Experience with Data, AI, or Machine Learning technologies.

The starting salary for this position is $180,200 annually, but an offered salary may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
