As the Platform Owner of Infrastructure Services, you report to the Global Infrastructure Family Owner, and will use your experience in the Infrastructure Services domain to represent customer requirements and prioritizations, by leading product teams that provide data center, platform, network, and infrastructure services.

  • You will be expected to provide the multi-year vision, roadmap, and direction to product owners/teams in this space. 
  • Collaborate with product owners across the organization to develop synergies in services, optimize processes through automation and self-service development, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • You have a strong desire to actively engage, and become a trusted partner, with our internal customers, business segment leaders, external vendors, and consultants that your team relies on to deliver services.
  • Manage expectations, relationships, finances, risks, prioritization, metrics, and communicate your vision and results to key business stakeholders comprised of technical and non-technical staff.

Requirements

  • Detailed understanding of cloud and data center infrastructure technologies
  • At least 4 years' experience in end to end project and/or product planning, resource management, and project delivery
  • Proficiency in consulting with stakeholders to understand business drivers, translate them into functional and non-functional requirements, and prioritize them against business demands
  • Ability to communicating complex ideas and designs with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience researching and analyzing industry trends and benchmarking information as they apply to products within the domain
  • Effective at building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships
  • Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders through strong leadership skills
  • Strong problem solving skills, with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress.
  • Ability to make quick and challenging decisions on a daily basis
  • US Citizenship required

Preferences

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with Business Management (or related field) or equivalent work experience required
  • Knowledge of Agile, DevOps/SRE, and product KPI best practices
  • Experience or knowledge with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools such as Terraform or Jenkins
  • Experience with public cloud, private cloud, orchestration platforms
  • Working knowledge of Java, C++, perl, Python, or Ruby
