• Manage and execute the daily activities for configuration and operation of IT environments.
• Provide technical and user support for several stand-alone, LAN and WAN systems
• Administer, support, and optimize Perforce Helix Core with LDAP integration
• Maintain records of HW/SW revisions and perform various configuration management activities
• Implement updates and management to provide the latest capabilities to engineers while ensuring the highest levels of security.
• Perform account management and other related duties
• Ensuring all actions are documented as required
• Participate in incident response and sanitization activities
• Provide computer security information and reports as necessary
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or 6+ years of experience in an equivalent role
• Experience configuring and administering Windows (WIN 10, Win Server 2016/2019) and Linux (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) operating systems
• Experience with source control systems, ideally Perforce, at an admin/management level, preferably with the CLI rather than just GUI.
• 2+ years of experience with the design, implementation, and administration of VMWare Virtual solutions
• Advanced system and network troubleshooting
• Group Policy, Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (OSI model, TCP/IP, ports & protocols), DNS and DHCP
• Strong working knowledge of file system, and system backup/recovery management.
• Excellent written communication and organizational skills
• Interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of individuals
• Ability to work well under pressure, good problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding and proficiency for executing and implementing controls and specified in the DoD Risk Manage Framework (RMF) process
• Active Secret security clearance
Preferences
• Experience with configuration management or automation platforms like SCCM/MECM, AWX, Ansible, Puppet, Chef
• Experience in scripting or developing automation in one or more languages, such as Python.
• Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how Perforce and Swarm are used by developers to branch and merge code to support provisioning and recover efforts
• 2+ years of experience in managing Routers, Switches, and Firewalls (CISCO certifications a plus)
• 2+ years of experience in managing Microsoft Exchange Server
• Experience working with vulnerability and compliance scanning tools. (Nessus, SCAP, ACAS)
