Role:
As Lead/Senior Corporate Accountant you will be responsible for the VAT reconciliation process for various international entities, including reviewing monthly journal entries prepared by local accounting teams, preparing reconciling adjustments, and ensuring the proper revaluation of account balances. Additionally, you will track intercompany shipments for compliance with VAT and invoicing. You will assist in the documentation and the implementation of the global VAT reporting process and work with Corporate Tax to provide required documentation for the VAT returns.

Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant with 3+ years accounting or relevant experience.
- Uses advanced financial concepts and company objectives to resolve complex financial issues.
- Good understanding of GAAP, VAT (European VAT preferred)/GST/Sales taxes, and accounting theory.
- Experience in accounting ERP systems, Oracle/SAP Financials experience a plus.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Solid understanding of Excel, Word with strong written and oral communication skills that enables clear communication to all levels of management.
- Works well in a team environment.

Preferences:
- Tax accounting preferred.
- International subsidiaries and foreign currencies a plus.
