Job Responsibilities

As a key member of our business group, you will support sales and financial performance by transforming the large volume of existing data into valuable information for decision making, supporting the development of business growth strategies in a safe, controlled and healthy way. You will also assist in the treatment, cleaning, transformation and preparation of structured and unstructured data, resenting them in the form of interactive dashboards and management reports. A successful candidate will have a background and interest in business process and strategic thought leadership, will be able to quickly understand the specific business needs of Viasat, and possess the influence needed to gain consensus and drive improvement. You will be an essential part of our team to further qualify our decision-making process.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics or related field. At least 1 year before graduation.
Computational logical reasoning.
Basic knowledge of any programming language (Python or any that is programmable by script).
Knowledge of basic data structures and databases.
Dataviz (PowerBl, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
Analytical and solution focused. Ability to think creatively and to leverage data to make key decisions.
Strong analytical skills.
Engaged and organized personality.
Self-driven individual with ability to work independently.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
Strong ability to work in teams and build good working relationships.
High degree of personal integrity and work ethic.
Business level of English (written and verbal)
