Job Responsibilities

As a member of one of our dynamic solutions engineering and technical account management  teams, you will use your network engineering expertise and customer solution intelligence to design, implement, document, test, troubleshoot and deploy network solutions; diagnose and resolve complex problems, provide critical network architecture support, and maintain a variety of network communication protocols. Because networking is your passion, networking system commands in several platforms like Cisco, Juniper, and Linux are second nature, which allows you to easily help others resolve networking issues.  You will aide and assist in complex demonstrations for current and future customers. You will architect new solutions and influence emerging technology to address customer challenges. You will be directly involved in a diverse number of communications programs and projects for US DoD customers as well as commercial applications. This fast-paced multi-tasking environment requires you to interact with a broad spectrum of program managers, hardware/software/project engineers and various internal support organizations on a regular basis. You will troubleshoot the most complex data network and hardware problems. You will be empowered to research technological advancements and evaluate complex data networking technologies to understand their potential. You will occasionally travel to participate in field work at customer sites internationally and domestically. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline
  • 7+ years experience with Cisco Switch/Routers/ASA Firewalls, or equivalent, in addition to hands-on experience in network design including Layer 2/3 design
  • 5+ years experience with Linux based systems
  • 3+ years experience in U.S. Army Wide Area Networks
  • Within 50 miles of Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG)
  • Advanced proficiency in the troubleshooting and tuning of the component hardware, software, networking and communications protocol problems
  • Thorough understanding of routing protocols like EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP and network based ACL's in addition to switching protocols such as 802.1D, 802.1Q, 802.1ad, QinQ, STP.
  • Demonstrable expertise in protocol standards such as IPv4, Mobile IP, 802.11b/g, GRE, ARP, DMVPN, and IPSEC
  • Strong proficiency with network Monitoring protocols and tools such as Wireshark, WinPcap, and Nfdump; as well as with network management protocols such as SNMP, LDAP and AAA
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel
  • US Citizenship
  • Active Secret Clearance

  • CCNA and/or CCNP Certification
  • Military Satellite Communications architecture experince
  • RED side network design, and high-assurance inline network encryptors
  • Prior experience working with virtualization (ESXi, KVM)
  • Prior experience with automation scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.)
  • Prior experience with network traffic generators (Spirent, Ixia, etc.)
  • Knowledge/Experience of cloud platforms: Amazon, Openstack, Microsoft’s Azure, Google Cloud Platform
  • Former military experience
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
