This position provides a unique opportunity to apply cutting-edge technologies and work closely with customers to develop multi-function RF Systems from design through integration and test that support our nation's most critical defense programs. This includes modeling and simulation, algorithm and waveform development, analysis to characterize performance, integration, and implementation on hardware, in SW and programmable logic.
Our development team is a diverse group dedicated to working in a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams that includes HW, SW, mechanical, networking, security and systems engineering to create innovative RF communications products and services.
As a RF Communications Engineer, you will utilize and build on a breadth of knowledge to use Software Define Radio (SDR) technology to collaboratively work with stakeholders to design, develop and test RF SATCOM systems and waveforms.

- 8+ years RF Systems design, development and integration experience with a preference for satellite communications (SATCOM) systems
- Experience with antennas, modems, Software Defined Radios (SDR) and associated networking equipment used in satellite and wireless communications
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, hands-on entrepreneurial environment
- Strong technical background in RF systems (RADAR, EW, SATCOM, datalinks, etc. )
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams, Systems, security, SW, HW, analog and RF circuits and programmable logic design
- Strong analytic/mathematics background with experience in RF system modeling, simulation, and analysis with a preference for SATCOM systems
- Experience using GNU Radio, Matlab, and/or Simulink
- Active TS Clearance (or held one in the last 2)
- Willingness to obtain a DoD TS SCI clearance (or held one in the last 2)
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Up to 10% domestic travel
- Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
- Previous experience implementing SATCOM systems using SDR technology
- Experience with satellite and wireless air interface standards and protocols
- Ability to work in in a Linux environment
- A strong technical background in RF SATCOM systems
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
- The ability to lead trade studies and architect innovative solutions to solve difficult technical problems
- Highly Proficient in developing, implementing and testing RF systems and/or SATCOM waveforms
- Working knowledge of modern FPGA architectures
- DoD TS/SCI clearance (or held one in the last 2 years)
