Job Responsibilities

  • Review product yield and field reliability data for trends and provide analysis and recommendations to business
  • Review our suppliers’ product yield and field reliability data for trends and provide analysis and recommendations to business
  • Help drive root cause investigations and process improvement efforts as well as create/implement world class quality practices (i.e. Pareto Analysis, Histograms, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Cpk, etc.) and business tools to help streamline this analysis
  • Review material issues and collaborate with engineers to decide what actions need to be taken to address these issues
  • Engage with suppliers to build relationships to partner in solving problems to improve quality, on time delivery and cost
  • Evaluate our processes and methods of monitoring and measuring our performance and our suppliers’ performance and provide guidance on improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams as you purpose and implement process changes or new solutions

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent field
  • Some experience in support of electronic assemblies including SMT CCAs, Box Build and Test, etc.
  • Strong math, statistics and data analysis skills
  • Interest and aptitude in pursuing root cause of problems and finding solutions to improve our products and processes
  • General knowledge of Supplier Quality
  • Able to commit to a 10-12 week summer internship

For United States-based jobs only: The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $70.00 hourly; however, base pay may vary within this range depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
