Job Responsibilities 

As a Hardware Engineer Intern for Comsat Labs, you will be part of a team that is responsible for ASIC and FW development supporting Viasat's communication infrastructure. You will be responsible for design, verification (analysis and testing), and documentation. You will be empowered to coordinate with a dynamic, multi-functional team with strong personal ownership and vision to meet our performance requirements and drive innovation.

Requirements

*Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field

*Experience with HW Description Language (VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog).

*Strong communication skills.

*Ability to commit to a 10-12 week internship.

Preferences

*Experience with ASIC or Programmable Logic design.

*Familiarity with satellite communications.
