As part of our Hardware Team, you will design highly reliable digital electronics that meet the required functional specifications, considering electrical, size and weight constraints, as well as aspects related to space environment.


  • Design, test, optimize and integrate highly reliable digital electronics based on FPGA, microcontrollers, or other programmable devices

  • Drive requirements, firmware design, component selection and procurement, board bring up, testing and design + manufacturing documentation

  • Partner with optical, mechanical, analog hardware and software teams

Required skills and experience:

  • MSc or equivalent relevant experience, in the field of electronic engineering or a related field

  • 7+ years of proven experiences in designing and implementing software development experience, in particular involving:

    • FPGA platforms and toolchains using VHDL or Verilog

    • High speed communication links (Ethernet, SPI, I2C and similar) and related network protocols

    • Software development for embedded systems in C

  • Solid knowledge in control theory and digital signal processing

  • Familiar with common electronic components (operational amplifiers, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, power supplies etc.) and schematic capture tools

  • At ease with various test equipments - oscilloscope, logic analyzer, protocol analyzer and similar; as well as developing automated design verification setup in Python or C++.

  • Strong documentation skills and ability to report on technical solutions and findings

  • Able to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering environment


  • Familiarity with RF components (mixers, amplifiers, up-down converters etc.)

  • Space-qualified electronics design experience

  • Experience developing highly reliable, safety-critical and fault-tolerant systems

  • Experience with analog/digital PLLs

  • Familiar with satellite communication and services
