As a Cybersecurity Administrator for classified systems, you will become familiar with our business missions and goals to deliver high-quality solutions in support of business needs. You will perform daily system and user support activities, analyze needs and performance or existing systems and services, design, harden, test, implement, and validate new technical solutions. You will manage operation of IT systems; provide technical and user support for several stand-alone, LAN and WAN systems; maintain records of HW/SW revisions, perform various configuration management activities, conduct vulnerability prevention and remediation, perform account management, etc., ensuring all actions are documented as required; participate in contamination network cleanup activities related to possible computer security violations/incidents; respond to queries and requests for computer security information and reports; may provide work leadership for lower level employees; and support various levels of activities for Viasat remote cleared facilities.

Requirement
- BS or MA in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience configuring and maintaining software programs and systems hardware functions to include, but not limited to: the latest Windows Client and Server Operating Systems; Sun Solaris; Linux (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu); Active Directory; TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP, integrations and account management
- Proficient with Windows and Linux/UNIX integration, account creation, group policy, administration, troubleshooting, file system maintenance, and backup applications
- Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate
- 2+ years of experience with the design, implementation, and administration of VMWare Virtual solutions
- 2+ years in a DoD, or other industrial security program and overall understanding of ICD 503, Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) and DoD Risk Manage Framework (RMF) process.
- DoD 8570.1/DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II certification (Security+) or above
- Proficiency with at least one scripting language (e.g., Perl, Python and PowerShell)
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
Preferences
- 2+ years of experience in managing Routers and Switches (CISCO certifications a plus)
- 2+ years of experience in managing Microsoft Exchange Server
- Experience working with vulnerability and compliance scanning tools. (Nessus, SCAP, ACAS)
- Experience interacting with Ansible
