As the Product Manager, Analytic Products for Alternative Broadband Ventures LTE, you will work closely with ABV product and growth strategy and commercial leads to develop the vision, strategy and roadmap for analytic products to support the proof-of-concept LTE mission. You will translate the roadmap to requirements for analytic products, and serve as the “customer voice" that directs development of our third-party analytics team.

You will also enable hypothesis-driven, learning-focused iteration, by serving as the subject matter expert on experimentation. You will partner with product and growth strategy to develop the experiment map and be a key stakeholder to execution. As experiments are fielded, will be your own customer, making full use of the analytic products that you have been instrumental in delivering.

  • Partner with product and growth strategy and commercial leads to develop the roadmap for LTE analytics products, with the goal of supporting iterative experimentation.
  • Translate the analytics product roadmap to requirements, and be the Agile Product Owner for our third-party analytic team.
  • Coordinate resources from ATG and ABV Product to provide platform access and any additional support to our third-party analytics team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with strategic leads to define the A/B sets of plans, prices, traffic policies, etc, using competitive positioning, insights and intuition.
  • Ensure the ability to measure key metrics, measure effects of changes and understand user behavior and segmentation.
  • Develop and maintain healthy relationships with internal organizations and external partners. Establish regular communication (meetings, status emails) to ensure everyone is aligned on current priorities and committed timelines are being communicated effectively, including any risks and changes.


  • 8+ years experience in product management or equivalent
  • Experience in consumer products, with a strong background in analytics, experimentation and metrics
  • Strong technical competence, and partnership with data platform and analytic teams
  • Scrappy - execution & outcome-focused
  • Empathy and understanding of the user
  • Effective communication skills


  • Experience designing and operationalizing data products with the end user in mind
  • Experience developing a Minimal Viable Product (MVP), testing and gathering feedback, and iterating with an Agile approach and continuous improvement attitude
  • Strong business acumen. Ability to understand ABV’s businesses and how data can inform our people and strategic goals.

At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. The starting salary for this position is $118,325 annually, but an offered salary may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience. This position may also be eligible for other cash or stock incentives, including Viasat’s Employee Stock Purchase Program, which allows Viasat employees to purchase Viasat stock at a discount.
