We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist - Paid Media to join the Global Fixed broadband team at Viasat. If you are passionate about paid media advertisement, this could be the role for you! We are in need of an individual to lead the Paid Media advertising program for Viasat’s B2C and B2B services and the overall performance of paid search and paid social ad spend and return. In this role, you will focus on customer acquisition and building the brand. To be successful, you will apply standard methodologies to take advantage of marketing opportunities, generate website traffic and sales by driving conversions.


  • Develop digital marketing campaigns for the US Residential and Small Business broadband organization, focusing on performance of organic and paid search engine marketing channels.
  • Work with a team of skilled marketing professionals to drive paid search and social traffic and increase sales performance.
  • Elevate Paid Search and Paid Social (Facebook and LinkedIn) marketing strategy between B2C and B2B target markets in the U.S., identifying key similarities and differences in digital customer journeys.
  • Collaborate within the US and Global digital marketing teams to effectively drive all aspects of digital marketing, seeking commonality with ecommerce, owned media, offline channels, brand, and creative teams, establishing strong communication and partnership.
  • Engage with team members to ensure critical metrics are communicated, obtaining results and recommendations for improving incremental performance.
  • Maintain current and accurate knowledge of search engine marketing and social media standard methodologies and strategies, offering thought leadership within the organization.
  • Assess and recommend revisions to website creative and landing pages, supporting the culture of testing and optimization.
  • Proactively review, analyze, report, and communicate performance data and insights while suggesting recommendations to improve spend efficiency, paid media traffic, and sales.


  • 3+ years digital marketing experience, running paid media campaigns with six-figure monthly budgets for a B2C and/or B2B telecom, technology, services, or subscription-based company.
  • Experience driving follow-through, leading a program from conception through completion, and willing to seek guidance as needed.
  • Ability to form relationships, work across departments and business units, building consensus and delivering upon stated objectives.
  • Ability to problem solve and consideration of process improvements.
  • Ability to write concise and clear guidance or summaries based on insights.
  • Excellent organizational project management and communications skills with a strong attention to detail and self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to drive actions from large data sets.
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills preferred, multi-lingual a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads or Bing Ads Certified.


  • Experience with Adobe Advertising Cloud Search (AMO), Adobe Analytics, and A/B testing tools a plus

At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. For Colorado-based jobs only: The minimum for this position is $84,950 annually; however, base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
