Business Operations Support Assistant, Spain

Job description

Viasat is looking for someone to fill the Business Operations Support role, joining Viasat’s growing consumer broadband team in Spain. You will integrate a dynamic and challenging environment. Your analytical approach and attention to detail will make you successful in the role to ensure operational excellence and subscriber satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:  

            First escalation support for direct operations

            Auditing sales quality

            Expanding and updating agent knowledge base

            Documenting and improving operational processes

            Conducting geomarketing analyses and improving tool

            Updating and improving internal dashboards and reports

            Optimizing and supervising government broadband subsidy processes

            Presenting business insights and making improvement recommendations to executive management

Requirements:

            2+ years’ experience in an Operations role

            Ability to manipulate and analyze data from diverse sources and systems

            Ability to translate data into business insights

            Experience building reports with specialized reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau

            Effective and collaborative problem-solving style, working both with internal as well as external teams. 

            Ability to work independently on a daily basis and also be a strong “team player” within an international team

            Strong verbal and written communication skills.

            Strong computer (Microsoft Office, Internet) skills

            No restrictions on driving privileges

            Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent in work experience.

            Travel up to 20%

Preferences:

            4+ years’ experience in a business Operations role

            Satellite, Cable, or ISP industry experience

            Salesforce experience

            Call center experience

            Experience working with Spanish public administration
