Job Responsibilities
In this exciting position supporting the growing customer base at Viasat you will support the Field Operations department by taking inbound calls from our field service technicians to assist them with a variety of responsibilities. In this technical- centered role, your troubleshooting skills and ability to problem solve with fast paced resolution will help to exceed our customer's expectations. Researching customer information for accuracy as well as verifying of external work orders with outbound calls will keep you on your toes in this quick- turnaround environment. While working with various departments you will be able to learn cross -functional information regarding exciting new projects and product launches of our company all while being trained about the interworking of our dynamic adventures. 
 

Requirements
Experience in customer service role
Must complete Installer certification course within 30 days of hire
Ability to work non-standard shift hours that could include Saturday and Sunday
High school diploma or GED
U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residence status may be required for some projects in which case, verification of such status will be required upon accepting employment

Preferences
2+ years technical customer service experience
2+ years satellite industry experience
Prior knowledge with ticketing system environment
Previous satellite field installation experience
Field installation and Field Service experience
Troubleshooting, problem solving and trend identification experience
