Job Responsibilities

The Sales Operations Product Owner will lead multiple teams in the delivery of sales systems for use by Viasat sales teams, partners and customers. In partnership with business and technical stakeholders, you will create strategies, roadmaps and highly performing applications that drive positive business results. This will include managing multiple teams in the design of applications that support Viasat’s aggressive global growth strategy. The ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrated a passion for inspiring, mentoring, and developing people and delivering services that are scalable, high quality and consistently with reusability and automation in mind. You have experience in working with a diverse set of business units to deliver common solutions. The selected candidate must be a hands-on leader, possess development/delivery expertise and strong client relationship management, promote a collaborative team culture, and inspire passion within the team to build applications that deliver an ideal customer experience.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in the design and delivery of Sales applications.
6+ years of managing, recruiting and people development.
Ability to develop strategy and implement business process optimization by partnering with Business Unit leadership.
Experienced in developing Sales systems to support multiple channels including eCommerce, Inside Sales and multiple Indirect(wholesale, reseller, etc.) Sales channels. B2B, B2C, B2G
Experience with Business Development and Sales processes in a B2G environment. 
Demonstrated ability to lead, recruit, grow and retain high-caliber talent at scale. Experienced organizing, running, supporting, and growing a large technology organization.
Strong understanding of integration technologies and patterns with multiple systems (Product Catalogs, Order Management, Billing, etc.).
Experienced in Agile Scrum & DevOps practices including CI/CD and ability to deliver continual improvements.
Strong ability to leverage data analytics to drive product roadmap and enhancements.
Demonstrated experience in implementing Sales automation practices.
Strong Product/Portfolio Management experience with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent communications skills with the ability to facilitate deep technical design discussions, align business objectives to solutions and communicate vision and strategy.

Preferences
Prior hands on experience in design, development and implementation of Sales SaaS solutions.
Experience with regulatory compliance standards and best practices (PII, PCI, GDPR, Security).
Certified ScrumMaster
Certified Scrum Product Owner
Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
