To support our satellite business that is focused on providing world-class Global Business Solutions, we are creating cloud-based platforms to enable quickly adding capabilities that delight our B2B customers.  A key component of this plan is complete automation of our testing.  To enable that automation, our team needs to understand the operation of the complete system and have the ability to do complex software in our cloud-based solution.  We work with the system architects to understand and enhance the operation, the developers to support their coding and the businesses to ensure that we support all the capability they need.  Our continuous improvement environment operates at all levels of the business, which demands that we use the best tools, the best processes and the best people.  If you are one of those people, then we have a place for you.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong platform vision that is focused on customer, partner and employee experience journeys.
  • Develop and execute performance/stress test suites for multi-component system spanning GUIs, APIs, embedded systems, SQL/NoSQL databases, HA back-office servers.
  • Plan, validate, find, problem solve, troubleshoot independently, capture and communicate, collaborate, demonstrate, celebrate, repeat!

Requirements
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment using Scrum and Nexus methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with test frameworks such as Robot, Protractor or Selenium -- creating new libraries, adding new keywords & tests.
  • Experience with Zephyr or other test case, automation, generation and management systems.
  • Experience using and developing custom wrappers around automation framework implementations for error handling, logging & reporting.
  • Scripting or automation experience with message queuing technologies such as RMQ or Kafka.
  • Experience with test plan development based on UI mocks, high-level requirements (Epics, stories, acceptance requirements) or specification documents.
  • Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, UDP, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with cloud automation
  • Experience with GraphQL APIs.
  • Sys-Admin level Unix/Linux proficiency
