Job Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial analysis in all aspects of planning and estimation processes related to budgeting, strategic planning  and monthly forecasts
  • Monitor program performance against forecast and budget goals and explain significant variances
  • Preparation of accurate, timely and consistent reporting as well as key actionable financial metrics and KPIs
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive both BA and division level projects from planning to execution
  • Support and perform month end close activities
  • Have a good understanding of internal reporting tools and systems to help ensure financial data integrity
  • Actively seek out improvement opportunities and contribute to the design and implementation of new processes or procedures focused on improving financial reporting and driving efficiency
  • Manage a team of 1-2 analysts, working through development and performance plans, as well as providing coaching and active feedback

Requirements
  • 10+ years "hands-on" Financial Planning and Analysis experience
  • 2+ years in a Financial Leadership role.
  • Solid understanding of CAS/FAR
  • Demonstrated experience in Financial Analysis and Modeling with expertise in spotting trends and providing sound financial guidance
  • Consolidation experience
  • Systems experience with proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related area
  • US Government position. US Citizenship
  • Up to 10% travel
Preferences
  • MBA or CPA a plus
  • Superior communication and team building skills: position will interact with team members across the segment and corporate functions at all levels
  • Confidence to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated track record of developing high performing teams
  • Ambitious self-starter with strong ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize to meet deadlines
