About a 30-minute walk from Capitol Hill, Viasat’s D.C. office is within easy reach of our government and military customers, and not far from the legislative hearings that Viasat’s lobbyist and government affairs staff attend. Those include working with the nearby Federal Communications Commission, a critical task since this agency assigns the radio frequency on which our satellite internet and other services are transmitted. D.C. staffers blow off steam on the office shuffleboard and football tables. And just outside the door is a wealth of big-city amenities, including five-star restaurants, pubs, museums, parks and the massive Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
